Monochrome

New Look skirt (purchase here) | New Look top (similar) | New Look belt (similar) | Asos necklace (purchase here) | Ralph Lauren shoes (similar)

Everyone seems to be wearing chokers nowadays and I hadn't really jumped on the bandwagon until now because I didn't like the idea of something so tight around my neck. I have to say though, the choker isn't uncomfortable at all and it looks great. I teamed it with a black top from New Look, a black and white pleated skirt also from New Look, a pair of black Ralph Lauren flats, a New Look black belt and some opaque black tights. I was going for a monochrome sort of look and I really like the way that everything has come together. I'm a huge fan of this skirt. It's on sale at the moment, so if you're thinking of buying it you might want to snap it up quickly!
The photos featured in today's post were all taken in Llandudno.

Turquoise & White

George top (similar) | Topshop jeans (similar) | George shoes (similar) | cuff bracelet (bought from ExclusiveCraft on Etsy) (similar) | Ted Baker bag (similar)

It has been a couple of weeks since my last post due to other personal commitments, so I thought I'd showcase a nice and simple outfit. I've been dying to use this beaded cuff bracelet that I ordered from Etsy but I was having difficulty styling it until now. I recently managed to find a pair of turquoise Jamie jeans from Topshop and they're a perfect match for the bracelet. I teamed these pieces with a white top, bag and shoes.
The photos were all taken yesterday in Haworth, Yorkshire. I spent the day there; it's a really nice little village.

Versace Jeans Dress

Versace Jeans dress (purchase here) | Monsoon cardigan (purchase here) | Ralph Lauren shoes (similar) | antique ring (similar)

It was love at first sight with this dress. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. Not only does it look pretty, but it also has very convenient pockets in the side. I wore it to the restaurant, Bryn Williams at Porth Eirias and the photos were all taken around the building. I teamed the dress with a black cardigan from Monsoon and a pair of Ralph Lauren flats. Disappointingly, the cardigan does not have pockets, but it's lovely all the same. The gold buttons are a nice touch.

Ivanka Trump Lace Dress

Ivanka Trump dress (similar) | Uniqlo cardigan (similar) | Geox shoes (similar) | antique brooch (similar)

For this outfit I teamed a lace Ivanka Trump dress with a burgundy cashmere cardigan, burgundy flats and an antique cameo brooch. I love cameo jewellery and I was thrilled to receive this lovely brooch as a present from a family member. Luckily, it fit perfectly with today's outfit.

Kate Spade Embellished Dehlila Dress

Kate Spade Dress (similar here & here) | Principles heels (purchase here) | Ted Baker bag (purchase here)

The photos were taken in Liverpool today in some sites associated with The Beatles and other locations. I'm exhausted after this photo shoot. It has been a long day.
I really love the embellishment on the neck of this dress. The outfit is quite simple because I didn't want to take away from the dress. I've teamed it with a white Ted Baker bag and Principles heels. The dress isn't available to purchase online as far as I can tell, but I've linked a couple in a similar style and colour above.

Embroidered Cardigan

Asos trousers (similar) | New Look top (similar) | Tulchan cardigan (similar) | Principles heels (purchase here)

I'm glad that embroidery is making a comeback. I think embroidered clothing is so lovely. Unfortunately I couldn't find the cardigan I'm wearing online anywhere but I've linked a similar one above that I like. I've teamed the cardigan with a pair of high waist khaki trousers (I love khaki and beige together), a white pair of shoes and a white vest top. I find that white tops can be quite see-through sometimes, but it helps to wear a nude coloured bra underneath; it's a lot less visible than a white one.
The pictures were taken in Old Colwyn and Deganwy. The trip to Deganwy gave me a chance to try out the cocktails at The Quay, which is where I am in the last picture.
